Bills C Eric Wood will miss at least two weeks after partially tearing his MCL in Sunday’s win over the Jaguars.
“It could be as soon as two weeks, it could end the season,” Wood said Monday, per the team’s Twitter account. “It’s unbelievable.
“I played 49 straight games in college and never got banged up,” he said. “I’m gonna go after it and try to get back for these last two (games).”
Wood has started all 12 games this season. He started the first nine in 2011 before tearing his ACL. Wood, who is in his fourth year, has not played a full 16-game season. Rookie David Snow will take over center duties in Wood’s absence.
