Lions WR Calvin Johnson, 49ers OLB Aldon Smith and LB Dekoda Watson were named the NFC Players of the Month for November.
Johnson had 32 catches for 619 receiving yards and three touchdowns in four games in November. He averaged 154.8 receiving yards a game in the month, though the Lions went 1-3.
Smith won the award despite playing in only three games in November, but in those three games he had nine sacks and two forced fumbles. In Week 11, Smith had 5½ sacks and two forced fumbles in a Monday night win over the Bears. The 49ers went 2-0-1 in November.
Watson had two special-teams tackles, a blocked punt that led to a touchdown and a fumble receovery that led to a score in November. The Buccaneers were 3-1 in the month.
Texans WR Andre Johnson, Broncos OLB Von Miller and Ravens WR Jacoby Jones were named the AFC Players of the Month for November.
Johnson had 35 catches for 614 yards and one touchdown in November, as the Texans went 4-0. In Week 11, he went 14-273-1 receiving, and his 48-yard touchdown was the game-winner in overtime.
Miller had 20 tackles, eight sacks, 10 tackles for loss and three forced fumbles in November. He led all AFC players in sacks and TFLs in the month, and was the only player to record at least one sack in all four weeks of November. The Broncos went 4-0 in the month.
Jones had two special-teams touchdowns in November. He returned a kickoff 105 yards for a touchdown in Week 10 and a punt 63 yards for a score in Week 11. He received two AFC Special Teams Player of the Week awards in November.
