LOCK OF THE WEEK
Which of your picks do you feel strongest about and why?
Hub Arkush: The Bucs may be hot but I’m still looking for the “quality” win in their streak, and I didn’t see anything vs. Carolina that tells me that they’re ready for Atlanta.
Keith Schleiden: The Lions have not won on Thanksgiving since 2003, losing eight in a row. They’ve been outscored 285-113 in those defeats. The Texans roll in this one.
Mike Holbrook: RG3 will use his return to Texas to boost his Rookie of the Year credentials with a big effort vs. a Cowboys “D” that looked vulnerable vs. Brandon Weeden.
Dan Arkush: The Bucs look like a team that could be on a postseason mission. I like them against a Falcons team that looked very sloppy in its win over the Cardinals.
Eric Edholm: The Raiders have not stopped anyone in more than a month — home, away, anywhere — so why would they be able to contain the suddenly hot Bengals?
Mike Wilkening: The Lions played well against Green Bay on Sunday but couldn’t finish. It’s going to take a big effort to avoid going 4-7, and I’m not sure that happens.
Dan Parr: No Raiders can stop A.J. Green. Look for Andy Dalton to connect with his top target early and often in a rough return to Cincy for ex-Bengal Carson Palmer.
Kevin Fishbain: The Bengals have hit their stride, and the Raiders have been a mess. Oakland doesn’t have an answer for A.J. Green and Cincy got its run game going in Week 11.
Arthur Arkush: The Patriots’ “D” has feasted on mistake-prone QBs of late, and I just don’t have confidence in Mark Sanchez to string together solid outings.
