Raiders QB Carson Palmer and WR Denarius Moore, the team’s top wide receiver, may be spending a bit more time comparing notes this week ahead of their Week 12 meeting with the Bengals.

Moore leads the Raiders in receiving yards (584) and touchdowns (five), but he has taken a step backward recently.

Moore basically disappeared in Oakland’s loss to the Saints in Week 11 — he was targeted seven times but made only one catch for nine yards and there were multiple occasions when Moore appeared to break his route in a direction that Palmer was not expecting him to.

Palmer alluded to miscommunication between the two after the game and said that he needs to do a better job of seeing the game the way Moore sees it. The veteran quarterback clearly didn’t want to create a perception that he had lost trust in the second-year receiver, but the connection between the two should be monitored after Sunday’s showing.
