Bears CB Charles Tillman could miss Sunday night’s game against the Texans if his wife goes into labor.
"The wife is due any day, so hopefully this baby can stay in until after the game on Sunday," Tillman said on WSCR-AM in Chicago on Tuesday night. "I hope she stays in — I'm having another girl. Monday, for sure, but if she comes Sunday, I think I'm going to have to be at the hospital Sunday. So, I hope she stays in until after Sunday."
Tillman has 43 tackles, six passes defensed, two interceptions (both of which were returned for touchdowns) and seven forced fumbles this season. Sunday’s game pits the 7-1 Bears vs. the 7-1 Texans.
Tillman started the Charles Tillman Cornerstone Foundation after his daughter, Tiana, was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy in May 2008 when she was three months old. She received a heart transplant at the age of six months old.
