The Lions acquired WR Mike Thomas from the Jaguars, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport first reported.

According to ESPN’s Paul Kuharsky, the Jags received an undisclosed draft pick in return.

Thomas has appeared in all seven games with three starts this season and has 13 catches for 80 yards. He had four catches for 19 yards in Sunday’s loss to Green Bay. Thomas had 66 catches for 820 yards and four scores in 2010, which was his best pro season.

The Lions are thin at wideout after losing Nate Burleson to a season-ending leg injury.
