The NFL announced on Monday that the trade deadline has been pushed back from Tuesday to Thursday, Nov. 1 at 4 p.m. ET because of Hurricane Sandy.

The NFL’s offices in New York are expected to be closed on Tuesday.

This is the first year that the trade deadline is after Week Eight, as the league decided to move it back from Week Six.
