Jaguars Blaine Gabbert has a torn labrum in his non-throwing shoulder, according to ESPN’s Ed Werder.
Preliminary results of an MRI indicated the injury. Gabbert is expected to see Dr. James Andrews for a second opinion on Tuesday.
Gabbert suffered the injury in the second quarter of Sunday’s loss to the Raiders. Chad Henne replaced Gabbert and was 9-of-20 throwing for 71 yards. Head coach Mike Mularkey said Monday that Gabbert could play this week.
Jacksonville will already be without RB Maurice Jones-Drew against Green Bay. Jones-Drew suffered a foot injury that could keep him out for several weeks.
