Norv Turner responded to the claim that the Chargers used an illegal stickum substance in their Week Six loss to Denver.

“Nobody from the Chargers used stickum in the game. Nobody in this organization has used stickum in any game,” he said. “The question that has been asked by the league involves a towel that has been used by this organization for over 10 years. It’s been used by a lot of teams in this league. The towel is used to dry the balls, dry the gloves the players wear. It is pretty widely used throughout the league. The league is looking into the towel.”

Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer first reported on Sunday that the league was investigating the towel that was confiscated by a side judge last Monday night.
