The Steelers promoted OL John Malecki to their active roster on Saturday. To make room for him, Pittsburgh released DL Corbin Bryant.

Malecki, a University of Pittsburgh product, has been on the Steelers’ practice squad for the first six weeks of the season. He was on the Steelers’ practice squad for five weeks in ’11. He originally entered the league as an undrafted free agent with Tennessee in 2010.
