The Steelers will suspend rookie NT Alameda Ta’amu for two games without pay after Ta’amu was arrested over the weekend. He is banned from the facility during that time.
Ta’amu was arrested for early Sunday morning after leading police on a chase while driving under the influence of alcohol. Ta’amu fled officers and crashed into four parked cars, injuring a woman. He tried to flee on foot before being restrained by four officers, according to The Associated Press.
The fourth-round pick out of Washington has not played this season.
