The Browns signed WR Josh Cooper from the practice squad and placed WR Jordan Norwood on injured reserve with the designation to return.
Cooper joined the Browns as an undrafted free agent on May 9. He had four catches for 41 yards in the preseason.
Norwood has played in the past two games, recording 13 catches for 137 yards. He sprained his foot in Wednesday’s practice. Norwood will be eligible to return to practice in six weeks and games in eight weeks.
The Browns also lifted the roster exemption for CB Joe Haden, who returns this weekend after a four-game suspension.
