The Redskins released PK Billy Cundiff on Tuesday and signed PK Kai Forbath.

Cundiff missed a field goal in Week Five after going 1-for-4 in Week Four, though the one made field goal turned out to be the game-winner.

The Ravens cut Cundiff before the season. The former PFW Golden Toe winner missed a field goal in last year’s AFC championship game. In his career, Cundiff has a 75.5 percent rate on field goals.

Forbath was one of a number of kickers to try out for Washington. He is a first-year player out of UCLA who has not played in an NFL game.
