Texans star LILB Brian Cushing was knocked out of Houston's 23-17 victory over the Jets with what looked to be a serious knee injury. Multiple reports after the game, including from PFW Texans correspondent John McClain of the Houston Chronicle, were saying it is an ACL injury.
Cushing was injured on what appeared to be an illegal chop block by Jets OLG Matt Slauson early in the second quarter.
Head coach Gary Kubiak was quoted after the game that he was "very concerned" about Cushing, who was seen on crutches after the game. The fourth-year NFL veteran reportedly will undergo tests, including an MRI, on his injured left knee when he returns to Houston.
