Titans RB Javon Ringer suffered an MCL injury in Sunday’s loss to Minnesota and will miss 4-6 weeks, head coach Mike Munchak confirmed Monday.

Ringer had three catches for 12 yards in the Week Five loss. It was his second game of the season — Ringer had two carries for 14 yards in Week Four.

Last season, Ringer had 59 carries for 185 yards and 28 catches for 187 yards. Jamie Harper and Darius Reynaud will be the backup running backs to Chris Johnson.

Munchak also confirmed that Jake Locker will not play in Thursday’s game against Pittsburgh, as Matt Hasselbeck will get the start with Rusty Smith as his backup.
