Bengals WR A.J. Green, Texans DE J.J. Watt and Titans KR-RB Darius Reynaud were named the AFC Players of the Month for September.

Green had 27 catches for 428 yards and three touchdowns in the Bengals’ first four games. Cincinnati was 3-1 in September.

Watt had 20 tackles, 7½ sacks, two fumble recoveries and five passes defensed in the first four games. Watt leads the league in sacks and has helped the Texans start the season with a 4-0 record.

Reynaud returned a kickoff 105 yards for a touchdown and threw a backward pass to teammate Tommie Campbell in Week Three on a punt return, and Campbell returned it 65 yards for a touchdown.

Falcons QB Matt Ryan, Bears CB Tim Jennings and Vikings KR-WR Percy Harvin were named the NFC Players of the Month for September.

Ryan, who has led the Falcons to a 4-0 start, has a 112.1 passer rating, which leads the league. He threw 11 touchdowns and two interceptions. He is the only player in franchise history to be named Offensive Player of the Month multiple times.

Jennings leads the NFL through four weeks with four interceptions and is tied for the league lead with nine passes defensed. The 3-1 Bears lead the league with 14 takeaways and 11 interceptions.

Harvin led the league with a 38.3-yard kickoff-return average. He returned a kickoff 105 yards for a touchdown in Week Four. The Vikings went 3-1 in September.
