The Cardinals announced Friday that they have re-signed FB Reagan Maui'a and placed FB Korey Hall on the reserve/retired list.
Maui’a, a 6-0, 265-pound Hawaii product, spent time with the Cardinals during the preseason until he was released on Aug. 24. He played in three games last season for the Cardinals after appearing in 15 games with four starts in 2010 with Arizona.
He started two games in 2008 for the Bengals and was inactive for three others after being claimed off waivers from the Dolphins on Sept. 3, 2008. He originally entered the league with the Dolphins as a sixth-round selection (181st) in the 2007 NFL draft.
He has appeared in 36 career games (18 starts) and has four carries for five yards and five receptions for 37 yards.
The team had just signed Hall on Tuesday. The five-year veteran appeared in 13 games with the Saints in 2012 after spending the previous four seasons in Green Bay.
The 29-year-old caught 21 passes for 137 yards and one touchdown in 61 career games, including 26 starts.
