The Cowboys signed former Bills P Brian Moorman, the team announced Thursday. Dallas released S Mana Silva to make room for Moorman on the roster.

Moorman was cut on Tuesday, as the Bills signed undrafted rookie Shawn Powell. Moorman, 36, has not missed a game in his 12-year career. This season, he has punted 15 times for an average of 45.5 yards and a net average of 32.7 yards.

Chris Jones has been the Cowboys’ punter this season after the team cut Mat McBriar. He has punted 11 times this season for an average of 46.4 yards and a net average of 40.7 yards.
