The Bengals re-signed S Chris Crocker on Thursday, the team announced.
Crocker was cut in April. He tore his ACL in November 2010, but started all 16 games last season. When Crocker was cut, he said the team wouldn’t rule out bringing him back.
Last season, Crocker had 61 tackles, 3½ sacks, five passes defensed and a forced fumble. In his nine NFL seasons, Crocker has also played for the Browns, Falcons and Dolphins. He joined the Bengals in 2008.
Crocker has 48 career passes defensed and 10 interceptions. To make room for Crocker, the Bengals cut TE Donald Lee.
