Chargers WR Malcom Floyd has signed a three-year contract extension, the team announced Wednesday.
Floyd, 31, is in his seventh season. He has started every game for San Diego this season, making 13 catches for 227 yards (17.5 average) and a touchdown. He has spent his entire career with the Chargers since entering the league in 2004.
He set a new career high in receiving yards last season (856) and has started nine games in each of the past three seasons. A 6-5, 225-pound receiver, Floyd has made 190 catches in his career for 3,397 yards and 21 TDs.
Floyd was in the final year of a two-year contract he signed before the 2011 season.
