The Buccaneers signed DE Jeff Charleston and placed DE Adrian Clayborn on injured reserve.
Charleston spent the past four seasons with the Saints. In 2011, he played in 10 games and had nine tackles and one sack. Charleston played in every game from 2009-10. He has 87 career tackles and eight sacks.
Clayborn suffered a season-ending knee injury in Sunday’s loss to Dallas. He had started the Bucs’ first three games. As a rookie last season, Clayborn notched 7½ sacks.
