The Dolphins brought back S Jonathon Amaya and LB Mike Rivera on Tuesday. They waived OT Ray Feinga and S Troy Nolan.

Amaya spent the 2011 season with the Saints after being traded for RB Reggie Bush. He had nine special-teams tackles and 10 defensive tackles for the Saints in 2011, appearing in all 16 games.

In 2010, Amaya had 15 defensive tackles in 10 games with Miami.

Rivera played in the first two games of this season with the Patriots. He joined the Dolphins originally in 2010 after being signed off the Packers’ practice squad. Miami released Rivera prior to the 2011 season.

Nolan appeared in the Dolphins' first three games, but did not record a defensive tackle.
