The Bills cut P Brian Moorman on Tuesday, according to multiple reports. Tim Graham of The Buffalo News confirmed they will bring back rookie P Shawn Powell.

Moorman, 36, has been with the Bills since 2001 and has not missed a game. In three games this season he has punted 15 times for a net average of 32.7 yards, dropping two punts in the 20-yard line.

According to Graham, the Bills cut Moorman for “shaky games with directional punts.”

Powell, an undrafted rookie, punted 14 times in the preseason for an average of 44.8 yards a punt.
