Ravens WR Torrey Smith left the team Sunday morning to be with his family after his younger brother Tevin died in a motorcyle accident.
Tevin Smith, 19, was killed in a single vehicle accident where he struck a pole late Saturday night, according to The Baltimore News.
It is unclear if Smith will play in Sunday night’s game against the Patriots.
"Torrey’s priority is his family," said head coach John Harbaugh. "We understand that completely."
The Ravens issued the following statement: "Our thoughts and prayers are with Torrey Smith after the passing of his brother, Tevin."
On Twitter, Smith wrote, "I can’t believe my little brother is gone…be thankful for your loved ones and tell them you love them…this is the hardest thing ever."
Smith is a second-year receiver who has four catches for 108 yards this season.
