The Eagles placed starting C Jason Kelce on the season-ending injured reserve list and signed C Steve Vallos.
Kelce suffered a torn MCL and a partially torn ACL in Sunday's win over the Ravens. The Eagles said Tuesday that it was possible that Kelce could let the ACL heal and return, or undergo surgery. It appears that the ACL needed to be fixed, forcing Kelce to miss the rest of the season.
As a rookie last season, Kelce started all 16 games. He had started the first two games of the 2012 season. Dallas Reynolds is Kelce's backup.
Vallos spent training camp with the Eagles. He has played in 40 career games with eight starts with the Seahawks and Browns.
