A report from Jenny Vrentas of the Newark Star-Ledger says that Giants CB Terrell Thomas had ACL surgery on his right knee earlier this week. Vrentas quoted two anonymous sources since the Giants have not officially announced the surgery.
Thomas, 27, missed all of last season after suffering a torn ACL. He then suffered a partial tear of the same knee in training camp. He originally suffered a right ACL injury in 2005 during his college career at USC.
A former second-round pick of the Giants, Thomas signed a four-year, $28 million deal prior to free agency this past offseason.
