Cardinals starting QB John Skelton was carted off the field with a right ankle injury. Kevin Kolb replaced him.
Skelton, who won the starting job after the preseason, had completed 14-of-28 passes for 149 yards and one interception. The Cardinals were trailing 16-13 when he exited in the middle of the fourth quarter.
The Cardinals traded for Kolb last summer and gave him a big contract, but he started only nine games last season (concussion) and threw nine touchdowns and eight interceptions.
