The Rams have signed LB James Laurinaitis to a five-year contract extension, the club announced Saturday.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the contract has a total value of $41.5 million, with $23.5 million guaranteed.
Laurinaitis, 25, has started all 48 regular-season games in his three previous seasons with St. Louis, notching 376 tackles. He's recorded at least 114 tackles in each campaign.
Laurinaitis' contract now runs through the 2017 season.
