The Buccaneers re-signed CB Brandon McDonald on Wednesday and waived OG Derek Hardman.

McDonald played in 13 games last season for the Lions and had 19 tackles and two passes defensed. He began his career with the Browns, playing in every game from 2007-09 and recording 37 passes defensed and eight interceptions.

McDonald had been released by Tampa on Saturday.

In two seasons with the Bucs, Hardman had appeared in 12 games with four starts.
