Multiple reports said that CB Drayton Florence, who was cut by the Broncos on Friday, will sign with the Lions on Sunday.
The Lions have been looking for a veteran corner to push rookie Bill Bentley for the starting job opposite Chris Houston. Florence, 31, started 45-of-46 games the past three seasons with the Bills before departing in free agency after signing a two-year, $4.5 million contract with the Broncos in May.
The 6-foot, 195-pound Florence is a nine-year NFL veteran with 96 career starts. He has 17 career interceptions, two of which he returned for touchdowns.
