EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The Giants have been awarded OT D.J. Jones on waivers from the Eagles.

The club announced the move Saturday and said it had waived third-year OG Mitch Petrus to make room on the 53-man roster.

Jones spent most of last season on the Ravens' practice squad. The Eagles claimed him off waivers on Feb. 6 and waived him Friday.

A fifth-round draft choice in 2010, Petrus played in 17 regular-season games with three starts. He appeared in all four 2011 postseason games.

The Giants also announced practice-squad signees: WR David Douglas; DEs Matt Broha and Craig Marshall; OLs Matt McCants, Selvish Capers and Stephen Goodin; TE Larry Donnell; and DB Laron Scott.
