The Dolphins traded reserve OL Ryan Cook to the Cowboys for a 2013 seventh-round pick, according to multiple reports.

Cook played in seven games last season for Miami. He spent the previous five seasons with the Vikings, playing in every game from 2007-10. Cook has appeared in 77 career games with 40 starts.

Cook, who started at center against the Cowboys in Wednesday’s preseason finale, provides much needed depth for Dallas, as the Cowboys have had injury problems along their interior offensive line this preseason. The Dolphins add another draft pick as they are looking to likely trade picks for a wide receiver this weekend.
