The Dolphins made two moves to get to the 75-player limit set by the NFL on Monday.
They released second-year WR Julius Pruitt and placed S Kelcie McCray on injured reserve.
Pruitt, who played in nine games with team last season, mostly on special teams, had seven catches for 61 yards in the preseason.
McCray, a rookie, had been sidelined since breaking a foot early in training camp.
