The Cowboys released 11 players on Monday and placed C-OG Kevin Kowalski on the reserve/PUP list.
The players the team released are OT Levy Adcock, P Delbert Alvarado, TE Harry Flaherty, LS Charley Hughlett, WR David Little, OT Tyrone Novikoff, WR Raymond Radway, RB Javarris Williams and CB C.J. Wilson. The team also waived/injured WR Donavon Kemp and LB Caleb McSurdy.
Kowalski, who was supposed to battle Phil Costa for the starting C job, has been sidelined with an ankle injury that hasn't healed as quickly as expected. He will now miss the first six weeks of the season, but doesn't count against the 53-man roster until a decision is made on his status after Week Six.
