The Browns trimmed their roster to 80 players on Sunday and cut WR Carlton Mitchell.

A sixth-round pick in 2010, Mitchell had three catches for 31 yards in six games last season. He has been slowed with a leg injury in training camp. The Browns added rookie WRs Travis Benjamin and Josh Gordon this offseason.

The Browns also released OL Jake Anderson, OL Matt Cleveland, DB Emanuel Davis, LB JoJo Dickson, P Spencer Lanning, WR Bert Reed, WR Jermaine Saffold and WR Owen Spencer. The deadline to get rosters to 75 players is Monday afternoon.
