Vikings WR Michael Jenkins renegotiated the final two years on his contract and took a pay cut, according to PFW correspondent Tom Pelissero of ESPN 1500.

Jenkins reduced his 2012 base salary from $2.5 million to $1 million and his 2013 salary from $2.5 million to $825,000. Pelissero reported that Jenkins could earn some of that back in the form of a roster bonus.

Jenkins, who had surgery to repair a torn meniscus suffered last November, played in 11 games last season and had 38 catches for 466 yards and three touchdowns.
