The Cowboys waived/injured OG Bill Nagy, the team's seventh-round pick in 2011.

Nagy spent most of his rookie season on injured reserve with a broken left ankle and reinjured it during training camp. He appeared in four games last season before the injury.

Dallas signed TE Harry Flaherty, who was with the Saints in training camp last summer before being released on Aug. 4.

The way we see it

There was hope Nagy could stay healthy and compete for the starting center job this camp, but he reinjured the same ankle that landed him on IR last year. He was a surprise rookie starter out of the gates but was unable to do anything this training camp.

If he clears waivers, Nagy could be back to land on the Cowboys’ injured reserve and not count against the 90-man roster.
