The Broncos will be without starting ORG Chris Kuper for the start of the regular season.
Kuper suffered a broken ulna in his left forearm, according to Mike Klis of the Denver Post, and is expected to miss six weeks. The injury occurred in Tuesday’s practice.
A seventh-year veteran, Kuper started all 16 games last season, but missed the playoffs after dislocating his left ankle in the regular-season finale. In his career, Kuper has appeared in 79 games with 73 starts.
Kuper’s replacement will likely be Manny Ramirez, who appeared in two games last season. Ramirez started 12 games for Detroit in 2009.
