Eagles CB Nnamdi Asomugha was involved in a collision during practice Monday and is being evaluated for a concussion.
Asomugha collided with teammate Nate Allen while trying to break up a pass and sustained a lip laceration and a sore neck, the team said. Eagles beat writer Jeff McLane, of the Inquirer, reported that Asomugha laid face down on the ground for close to five minutes and did not move much before rising to a knee. He was helped to a cart and escorted inside. McLane said Allen returned to practice after the hit.
If he is diagnosed with a concussion, it would be Asomugha's second in about eight months. He suffered a concussion in a game vs. the Seahawks in December.
