A woman will work as an official for the first time in NFL history at Thurday's preseason Packers-Chargers game in San Diego.

Shannon Eastin will make history as part of the replacement officiating crew, according to The Los Angeles Times' Sam Farmer. Eastin is from Arizona and has worked Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference games.

The NFL locked out its officials in June and the two sides have yet to agree on a new Collective Bargaining Agreement.
