Buccaneers ORT Jeremy Trueblood is taking a $1 million pay cut. He is in the final year of a two-year contract signed last August.
“It is what it is,” Trueblood said, according to Pewter Report. “It’s football — just part of the business of things. I’ve seen worse when you get a call the day before camp.”
The two-year deal was worth $10 million with a $5 million base salary in 2012. Trueblood started all 15 games in which he played last season. In his six years with the Bucs, he has played in 92 games with 83 starts.
