Former NFL RB Jamal Lewis faces a misdemeanor charge stemming from an allegation that he hasn't paid child support, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Wednesday.

Lewis, according to The Journal-Constitution, was jailed briefly late Tuesday and early Wednesday on the child abandonment charge in Clayton County, Georgia.

Lewis, 33, played for the Ravens from 2000-06 and for the Browns from 2007-09. He reportedly filed for bankruptcy in April.
