Lions DT Nick Fairley’s hearing for a second-degree possession of marijuana charge in Mobile (Ala.) Municipal Court has been delayed until Nov. 27. The hearing had been scheduled for Tuesday morning.
Fairley, who was at the team's practice in Allen Park, Mich. on Tuesday, was arrested around 12:30 p.m. April 3 near his home in Mobile, after neighbors complained he was speeding up and down the street.
His case was delayed May 14 to give his attorney more time to review the case. Fairley also has a trial date set for Aug. 14 in Mobile County District Court in connection with a second arrest that saw him get charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving and attempting to elude police after Alabama State troopers say he passed a police car at 1:13 a.m. May 27 traveling 100 m.p.h. in a Cadillac Escalade.
