Brown DT Ahtyba Rubin underwent a procedure to repair a slight pelvic tear six weeks ago, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Rubin was placed on the active/physically-unable-to-perform list, head coach Pat Shurmur confirmed at the start of camp.

Last season, Rubin started every game for the second year in a row and had 83 tackles and five sacks. He has not missed a game since 2008. Shurmur said that Rubin should be back within “a couple of days.”
