The Titans made no secret about their desire to upgrade the interior of the offensive line this offseason, hosting five different centers before eventually deciding to stay the course with maligned C Eugene Amano. Tennessee let ORG Jake Scott walk in free agency, signing seven-time Pro Bowler and a member of the NFL’s All-Decade team for the 2000s, Steve Hutchinson. The former Seahawk and Viking will be plugged in at his familiar left guard spot, with Leroy Harris kicking over to right guard. With a likely future Hall of Famer now in the mix, what will his impact be on Amano and Harris, both of whom struggled as run blockers a season ago? According to a team source, Hutchinson’s impact already could be felt in the offseason. “He immediately became the alpha dog of the room,” the source said. At 34, Hutchinson’s best football is behind him, but the belief around the team is that his leadership and résumé will resonate with Amano and Harris.
