The Texans re-signed WR Bryant Johnson on Thursday, according to PFW correspondent John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.

Johnson, 31, played in every game last season and had six catches for 90 yards and a touchdown.

He played for the Lions from 2009-10 and went 35-417-3 in ’09, starting all 16 games for Detroit. Johnson began his career in 2003 with Arizona, where he played until ’07.

In ’08, Johnson had 45 catches and 546 receiving yards and three touchdowns with the 49ers. In his career, he has 314 catches and 16 touchdowns.

On Friday, the team confirmed Johnson's signing and also announced the addition of LB Keyaron Fox. Fox played for the Redskins last season and had 13 tackles in 13 games. In his nine seasons, he has spent time with the Chiefs (2004-07) and Steelers (2008-10).
