The Bengals placed CB Nate Clements, WR Jordan Shipley, DT Pat Sims and PK Mike Nugent on the active/physically-unable-to-perform list, the team announced Friday.

CB Dre Kirkpatrick, who suffered a leg injury before camp, was placed on the active/non-football injury.

Clements, Shipley, Sims, Nugent and Kirkpatrick will not count against the team’s roster limit and can return to practice once they are medically cleared.

LB Brandon Joiner was placed on the reserve/did not report list.
