The Vikings agreed to terms with No. 4 overall pick OT Matt Kalil, the St. Paul Pioneer Press first reported.
The two sides were reportedly hung up on the “offset” language in the contract. The Vikings have an organizational policy of an offset clause in all contracts, according to PFW correspondent Tom Pelissero of ESPN 1500. Pelissero reported, however, that Kalil's deal does not have offset language in the fourth year.
Kalil, out of USC, is expected to be the Day One starter at left tackle for the Vikings. Click here for his PFW scouting report.
