Lions DT Ndamukong Suh is being sued for more than $1 million in an Oregon court by a passenger in a one-car accident involving Suh last December, multiple media outlets reported Thursday.

In the lawsuit, a copy of which can be accessed at, Saadia Van Winkle alleges that Suh was negligent and reckless in causing the accident, which occurred in Portland on Dec. 3. The suit, per the copy on, also alleges that Suh inflicted emotional distress by "physically and verbally intimidating (the) plantiff."

The suit also alleges that Suh lied to 911 operators by claiming everyone in the vehicle was OK. Moreover, it alleges that Suh gave Van Winkle $700 “in an effort to buy her silence.” Van Winkle claims to have suffered multiple injuries in the accident.

Per the Detroit Free Press, Suh, an attorney for him and the Lions have not yet been reached for comment.
