Former Browns OG Eric Steinbach agreed to a one-year deal with the Dolphins, according to Terry McCormick of National Football Post. Steinbach's agent, Jack Bechta, confirmed the deal on Twitter.
Steinbach missed the 2011 season with a back injury that required surgery. He started all 16 games in 2009 and ’10 and 14 in ’08. Steinbach began his career with the Bengals and played there from 2003-06.
Steinbach has played in 125 career games with 124 starts. He likely will join the competition to start at right guard for Miami this season with veteran Artis Hicks and third-year pro John Jerry.
